Unfortunately, I cannot share any footage of this project because it hasn’t been released to the public yet. I can say that I was the only developer working on the project for almost the entire duration. Some of my key responsibilities included integrating the Oculus SDK (as the application supports full hand tracking), coordinating with third party contractors and all the of the systems required in the application. These range all way from an event-based quest system, to UI logic to optimising and creating underwater / above water shaders and visuals. Also, as part of this project I was given opportunity to go scuba diving for myself (which has to be one of the most surreal ‘at the office’ experiences I’ve ever had) as the client wanted to ensure that we could bring a level of realism to the simulation.
